  1. Skiing.

    In Auckland the film festival is on in July, not sure of the date though. Try & see a movie at the Civic Theatre & make sure you ask for a seat upstairs. This is a beautiful & amazing theatre, with lifelike stars on the ceiling, etc. Arrive for the movie early to check it out.

  2. International Antarctic centre is a MUST when in C/Church- 5 min walk from the airport. Skiing in Queenstown.

  3. You are spoilt for choice in NZ that’s for sure. I spent half my life there and been there done that on most things. Since I lived in the south island (which is better anyhow) I’ll give you some ideas’.

    Regions are described as::
    Marlborough – "the wine and food capital of the country"
